My advice:
1. When confused, avoid using P. If your luck is anything like mine, you'll end up surrendering.
2. Register! If you like the game, then register. You'll also have the bonus of being able to have more games going at once.
3. Clans/covens can be more hassle then they're worth. If you're interested in joining one, research them and ask around. Make sure they are what they say they are. Don't be mislead. Be careful if you do join one, it could make you a target of the other clans/covens. Always remember: Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.
4. If you play against me, make sure you take your turns, because I will force a surrender when given the opportunity.
