nawglan: (n) The Sacred Nine. It is a specially prepared mixture of ashes obtained from the burning of the nine sacred woods: willows of the streams, hazel of the rocks, alder of the marches, birch of the waterfalls, ash of the shadows, yew of the plain, elm of the glens, rowan of the mountains, oak of the sun. Used by Druids and Bards in sacred rituals in 'time between times' inside the Stone Circle, and scattered to the four quarters.

Seems everyone has their own game variation these days... so, here are mine.
NAWGLAN'S BREW-HA-HA:
The only spell you can target at an opponent or monster is Cause Light Wounds (WFP). All other spells _MUST_ be targeted at yourself. Storms and elementals are NOT legal. However, monsters are legal, as is FoD (as long as you target yourself). Stabs must target yourself. cDPW is allowed and MUST be targeted at yourself. The only exception to these rules is when there is an odd number of combatants including monsters at the time you enter your gestures. When the number is odd, play reverts back to a normal warlocks game. When the number is even, then the restricted rule set applies. Should you slip and accidentally target or cast something you shouldn't, you MUST surrender the next turn.
NAWGLAN'S INSTA-GIB:
Stabs kill. Stabs during dispel magic / time-stopped / hasted turns are normal 1hp stabs.
If you are stabbed with a killing stab, surrender next turn with a witty death throes message.
(optional variant: no stabs first 3 turns)
