I used to play the original game I prefer to play as close as possible to that.
OK for different spells to conjure fire or ice elemental (they were the same spell with choice of the caster), OK for the removal of the spell "Raise Dead", OK (but with an effort) for tha additional P needed to cast Anti-spell, OK for other small changes here and there, but I skip the optional variants altogether.

Neither ParaFC nor ParaFD, mainly because they contradict the logic of the game in this:
- ParaFC makes no sense with meaning of the gestures, because you cannot clap your hands if you are paralized and you remain with you fingers spread out at half gesture. Hence the original.
-ParaFD creates a completely different way to cast a magic. If Paralysis requires FDF, the sequence FDFDFDFD should cast the spell only every other time, at every F, not with D, as all the other spells in the game.

PS. Avoiding ParaFoD is difficult in this version of the game. I surrender to ParaFC... sigh... The reason for this is the Antispell in 4 gestures instead of 3 and the Paralysis spell that cancels itself, none of which was a rule of the original game.

Maladroit is conceived to remove an element of randomness in the game. But I like this little bit of randomness that awards the wits of the player to deal with a random gesture and solve the situation. There is also luck, of course, but luck evens out on the long run and ultimetely does not count in scores. Hence I like Confusion spell in my game.

As for my gameplay: I will always go for a kill if I can. This is a game of fighting wizards, mercy is ridiculous and wrong against all other players but the one you are granting it. I am serious: if I am doomed anyway to die without possibility of surrender, I will drag the most wizards I can to the grave with me in a suicide attack, if I get the chance.
Anything less, in my opinion, is unfair: use the same policy against me, please.
