A foul stench rises from the depths of the Isle castle. Vermont rolls his eyes, knowing it can only be from one source. He casts a quick spell to block the stench and wanders down into the dungeon. "BoomFrog!" he bellows, "I thought Xade already told you to do your experiments outside. And down wind."
"Yes, yes," BoomFrog crows, "just a slight misfire. Animating flesh is always tricky, and the hell plane's energies interfere with true necromancy. Although I have read in the libraries that raising the dead was once possible."
"Well it doesn't work anymore." Vermont looks around at the bloody goblin corpse lying on the table. "And why animate a goblin? They are easier to summon then raise anyway."
"Oh, I'm done with him. I'm working on a little... he he... side project.. heh. Trying to get the... heh... upper Hand on the competetion. He he he." BoomFrog opens his robe to reveal a goblin arm sewn to his ribcage.
Vermont rolls his eyes and turns to leave, "That's disgusting and pointless. Even if it did work the referees would never let you cast three spells at once."
