I'm new to the scene. Interested in playing this game with friends and family, I decided to play online to get the hang of it.
So far I like it. I'm not that good yet, but I'll learn.
There is one thing that I don't agree with though. I know that this game is based off the game Waving Hands by Richard Bartle, but I believe Richard made a fatal mistake when he made Paralysis' gestures FFF. ParaFC or not, it's a terrible idea to have such a debilitating spell able to be cast round after round.
In my opinion, the gesture should be completely changed to something like FFP or FFW. Something that breaks the cycle of continuity. It's not that far of a stretch to change a spell's gestures. Some of the spells in this game already have different gestures compared to the original game, so what's one more?
I will never agree with the current gesture for this spell and I also do not respect those that abuse it, paraFC or not. There are 39 other spells out there, try using them. |
